BHR Group plays a pivotal role in the industrial adoption of nanotechnology. Through our wholly industrially-funded research programme DOMINO, we are developing new value-chains. Our customers benefit from new engineering product and process designs which are developed around sophisticated numerical modelling, experimentally validated in our laboratories.
The process engineering challenge and objective of products with nanoparticles in their formulation is to obtain a final product which is highly dispersed, functional and stable. BHR Group successfully works on industrial processes relating to the dispersion of nanoparticles and nanoclays in liquids, nanoparticle incorporation in the product formulation, through to the provision of new process design and equipment selection.
With BHR Group knowhow, our clients, partners and collaborators are able to take new products to market, improve their practices and enhance product performance and quality across a wide range of industrial sectors.
DOMINO is supported by a range of industrial companies and has been running on a rolling basis since 2007. DOMINO aims to develop process design procedures based on experimental and numerical findings. The work programme is steered by its industrial members.
