BHR Conferences is the Conferences division of BHR Group Limited.

For over 45 years we have been organising technical conferences and training courses bringing together the world’s leading authorities in their technologies and innovative developers to share and discuss new solutions to meet constantly changing challenges.

Our conferences feature a range of papers covering new developments and case studies showing the practical application of the technology and techniques in the field, the problems encountered and how they were solved.

The networking opportunities give delegates time to share problems and solutions, meet and learn from those with first hand experience, hear about on-going practical research and take away a greater understanding of the subject. This all takes place in the setting of a well-organised conference in a comfortable venue, and where possible, close to a technical centre offering a site visit to delegates.

BHR Group Limited is an independent group of technology companies providing knowledge-based fluid engineering consultancy services and process technology solutions utilising its core competence, facilities and expertise in process technology and fluid dynamics.

Background

The predecessor to BHR Group Limited was BHRA, The British Hydromechanics Research Association. BHRA was established in 1947 with the objective of extending the knowledge of scientific principles and their application to the manufacture and use of hydraulic machinery. Over the years, the technology base grew from these first beginnings.

In 1989 the business and assets were bought out by management and staff to form BHR Group Limited, an independent private company. Since then, the company has matured and developed an enviable reputation for providing solutions - and knowledge - that work. Thousands of clients have attended courses and conferences, and hundreds are helped by BHR Group's consultants every year.
