Environmental Chambers

We have facilities which allow the testing of materials and components in a wide range of environmental conditions:

• Environmental chambers with heating and refrigeration systems allowing accurate test temperature control from -30°C up to 500°C
• A range of hyperbaric vessels for application of external pressure to components of up to 20,000 psi
• Sealed chambers which can be purged with inert gases such as nitrogen to allow testing of materials and components with flammable fluids
• Steam plant to enable testing of gaskets/seals in a saturated steam environment
• Experience with liquid nitrogen handling for performance testing down to cryogenic temperatures
