Industrial Research

We provide customers with direct access to a wide range  of technical expertise, dedicated and customised test facilities and proprietary and in-house analytical tools providing rapid solutions to many fluid engineering challenges.

We will work for individual or groups of customers, creating project teams and resources focussing the work to address their specific research needs.  We take care in protecting our customers confidentiality and intellectual property and also seek ways to protect and exploit the know-how arising from our research.

What We Do

A commitment to effective and co-ordinated management of technically challenging and innovative projects which provide novel and practical solutions for our clients.

We provide our research services in the following ways:

• Contract research services, for customers with focussed research needs

• Consortium  and JIP research (Joint Industry  Projects) services for those customers with generic research need, which are usually common to an industrial sector.  Here customers for reasons of cost and shared experience pool there efforts together to establish new methods or standards.

• Co-operative research services where diverse technical expertise is co-ordinated to both develop emerging technologies and ensure industry relevance and uptake.  We are also experienced in securing third party regional, national government and European community financial support where necessary.
