Technical Scope 

The papers presented at the conference will cover a range of applications and technologies in sessions introduced by experts in each field.

• Geographical  - environmental issues; difficult terrain; deep and ultradeep waters; cold environment; subsea long distance tiebacks; oil sands; sand and particle transport; downhole and seabed processing; wet vs dry wells; hilly terrain pipeline operations
• Flows - flow assurance; flowlines and risers; vertical flows; heavy oil flows; rheology/complex fluids; bundles/heating systems; slug management and control; turbulence and wave motion; thermal remediation
• Application of flow modelling - field validation; modelling in intelligent wells; multi-dimensional modelling; new applications

• Product formulations - emulsions, foams and slurries; hydrates, asphaltenes and waxes; sand and scale

Training Course- Slurry Handling

 In conjunction with this year’s conference, we offer a training course on Slurry Handling in Calgary immediately preceding the Conference. Organised by experts in the field, the course will be invaluable to engineers working with slurry systems.

 The course runs on 1st and 2nd June.
