Pipeline Protection

In recent years, the media have reported problems with pipelines with what seems increasing frequency.  From polluting leaks in hydrocarbon pipelines, to unacceptable losses from water mains, pipelines can cause trouble. The nature of the problem can vary: poor maintenance, ageing infrastructure, progressive deterioiation or sudden failure.

The Pipeline Protection Conference, now in its fourth decade, has, since it's inception, brought together experts' knowledge in good practices for protecting today's pipelines and the latest techniques to counter tomorrow's challenges.

Following the successful conference in Edinburgh, UK in 2007, the next event in this series will also be in Europe in 2009. More details will be posted here during 2008.
