The conference will open on the morning of Wednesday 5th November and conclude after lunch on Friday 7th November 2008

Amsterdam has something to offer everyone!

Although the hotel is on the outskirts of this world-famous city, travel into the centre is easy by taxi, bus or train from the airport itself. If you cannot stay on over the weekend to see the city sights, why not at least travel by coach on Wednesday evening 4th November and dine in one of the many restaurants before a coach return to the hotel?

Getting Around/Travel

By air – The Holiday Inn Amsterdam Schiphol is a strategically located hotel between Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and Amsterdam city centre. Close to the A9 on business park Lijnden.  The distance from the airport is 5 KM / 3.11miles, the average taxi charge is €25,00 and will take approximately 10 minutes .

By train – Schiphol Station is 5 KM / 3.11miles to the hotel, there is a shuttle from the station which costs €5,00, a taxi will cost €20,00

By Road - From Amsterdam: A10 direction to The Hague, after 4 km at junction “de Nieuwe Meer” direction to The Hague. After 4 km take the direction to Badhoevedorp (exit 7). After 250 meters take the second exit on the roundabout in the direction of Amsterdam Osdorp. After 600 meters take the right exit to Melbournestraat. After 100 meters you have arrived at the Holiday Inn Amsterdam Schiphol. 

From The Hague/ Rotterdam: A4 in the direction of Amsterdam. After the Schipholtunnel at junction Badhoevedorp take the A9 in the direction of Haarlem. After approximately 5 km you take the direction to Badhoevedorp (exit 7). After 250 meters take the second exit on the roundabout in the direction of Amsterdam Osdorp. After 600 meters take the right exit to Melbournestraat. After 100 meters you have arrived at the Holiday Inn Amsterdam Schiphol. 

From Utrecht: A2 direction to Amsterdam. After approximately 15 minutes at junction Holendrecht A9 direction of Amstelveen. After 15 km take the direction to Badhoevedorp (exit 7), take the second exit on the roundabout after 250 meters in the direction of Amsterdam Osdorp. After 600 meters take the right exit to Melbournestraat. After 100 meters you have arrived at the Holiday Inn Amsterdam Schiphol.
