Who are we?

BHR Group has been in existence for over 60 years and I have been employed here for half that time.  What attracted me to work at BHR Group was the opportunity to seek knowledge and apply that knowledge to solve genuine industrial problems.  Whenever I go to Wales I still go and look at the Dinorvic power station outfall structure which I 'designed' and tested over 20 years ago.  If you multiply my experience by the several hundred engineers who have worked for BHR Group over the years it will be near impossible to find a country which has not benefited from our expertise.  The markets we work in and the variety of work has expanded but we have remained true to the slogan of being "Experts in Fluid Engineering".

Our new five-year plan retains true to our Fluid Engineering heritage but extends the scope of our abilities to serve a wider client base.  We are already delivering some services on the Internet on a pay as you use basis and this will expand.  Our ability to simulate fluid problems mathematically will continue to increase as we develop new analysis tools but our core physical modelling capability will remain.  Extremely able, industrially aware engineers are our lifeblood to supply our clients with quality results and we have a very diverse culture with employees from all five continents.

Our growth strategy excites me greatly and I am proud and excited to be responsible for such a great group of colleagues at a time of huge opportunity.
